On May 8, Louisiana Society Sons of the American Revolution (LASSAR) President Steve Kubicek represented the Louisiana Society, Sons of the American Revolution, serving as the keynote speaker in the persona of George Washington at the American Judicial Alliance Patriot’s Day Luncheon, held at the LSU Rural Life Museum in Baton Rouge. During the luncheon, President Kubicek also presented the SAR Silver Good Citizenship Medal to the Hon. Judge Darrell White, an award previously voted on and approved by the LASSAR Board of Directors.
The Silver Good Citizenship Medal recognizes outstanding and unusual patriotic achievement and service. It is awarded to individuals of prominence in government (including military service), religion, education, business, the professions, and other fields of endeavor whose contributions reflect exceptional civic responsibility and patriotism.
