The Pierre George Rousseau Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution held its annual Lexington and Concord commemorative dinner meeting 19 April 2022, 247 years to the date of the actual event. The venue was the beautiful Benedicts Plantation in Mandeville.
Chapter President, Rodney McKelroy gave a short presentation on the Battle at Eutaw Springs. Special guests included the President of the Louisiana State Society SAR, Jeffery Nolen as well as the Vice President General of the Southern District SAR, Bradly Hayes and his wife Sarah.
