Students and staff of Mandeville Junior High School remembered Veterans Day with a commemorative program on Friday November 11th, 2022. Henry Motty, Louisiana Society, Sons of American Revolution (SAR) Teacher of the Year Award recipient, planned the program to include the SAR, Pierre George Rousseau Chapter color guard.
Uniformed members were Tom Jacks, George Clemenceau, and Paul Guidry. Each member shared a short bio of their Revoluonary War ancestor. Other chapter members who shared military service experiences were Joel Whitehead, (Ret. Adm. USCG) and Michael Nation.
